Such a pretty one! It was tough to pick what order to highlight this week, but I love this one for Mother's Day especially. The front has all three kids birthstones and the back has all their names. Such a great everyday piece to wear!

Unique LA Wrap-Up

We had an amazing time at Unique LA this weekend, its always a blast. Its so fun to see and meet all the amazing artists that show there and we always come away with some amazing goodies for ourselves. We'll write some more about some of our favorite vendors later on, but for today we really want to thank everyone who came out to support us and hello and welcome to all those who met us for the first time!! We can't wait to get started on all our new orders! :)

This necklace is beautiful, but I think my favorite thing about this one, is that the front and back are equally cute! Its like getting two necklaces in one! The gold inlay on the front is gorgeous and the monogram on the back is simple and sweet. *love*

Unique LA - Nan Lawson

There are a lot of booths I can't wait to visit at Unique LA this weekend, but I'm really excited to get some new prints and artwork for my house. If my husband would let me, I would hang prints and photos gallery style, floor to ceiling, in my home. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately!) my husband's tastes runs more towards minimalist, so we have to find a happy medium. I love that so many artists are now selling prints of their work for really reasonable prices, allowing me to purchase as much art as I want without going bankrupt. And seeing it all in person and meeting the artist makes it that much better! I can't wait to go see this artist, Nan Lawson. Her illustrations are simple and quirky and sweet. And it says on her Etsy shop that she does custom portraits, something I've wanted done of our family for a long time now (and wouldn't that just be the sweetest Mother's Day present? Since I already have a ton of fab personalized jewelry?? hint hint hubby!) ;)

Unique LA - Meet Our Neighbor

Its that time again! We've only got a little under two weeks to go till Unique LA and we're getting pumped! We've found out who are neighbors are and thought we'd share with you some of the awesome peeps who will be at the show. Both of us are a little nervous for our bank accounts to be as close as we are to this booth. Lucky Fish makes awesome screen printed tees for adults, kids and babies (which means we'll be tempted all weekend long to buy all three!). They also make amazing pillows we're already drooling over. (that butterfly pillow! bah!) Check them out and then come see the both of us on the 24th and 25th!

1. How old is your mom? My daughter answered "Erwin" (confusing age with my name) so I asked my three year old daycare kid. He said I was three.
2. What is your mom's favorite thing to eat? "Egg." (what we had for breakfast this morning)
3. What is your mom's favorite thing to do? "Egg." Then she shook her head and said, "play."
4. What is your favorite thing to do with your mom? "Play. Right dare (there). Daycare. Colors."

We love making something special for Grandma's. A.) They are soooo appreciative of anything you give them and b). all they want from you is to see your kids. Are you all ready for the Easter bunny? Yesterday when I was out shopping for Easter goodies I ran into three moms from my kid's schools. It seems everyone had the same idea: drop off the kids, make a mad dash for the jelly beans. We haven't done a lot around here for Easter yet, we're dying eggs tomorrow and participating in an egg hunt. My son wants to decorate when he gets home from school today, so we'll see what we come up with. We did try something new this week though! Watching me make a headband for my daughter, my son asked me to teach him how to "sew." So I had him write his name on a piece of fabric, put it in an embroidery hoop for him, taught him a basic running stitch and let him have at it. I was amazed at how well he did! I told you embroidery was easy! ;) He got about half way through before he got too tired (and he took little breaks in between letters while I changed the thread for him, he insisted on all the different colors). I'm no expert, but I'm sure a project like this is great for his fine motor skills. I had wanted to buy him some lacing cards for quite a while now, but never got around to it. This way he's creating something more permanent and all his own.

Hope you and your family have a fantastic chocolate coated Easter!! Oh, and can I just say I wish I was eight again? So I could wear all of this stuff? Oh Stella, you're killing me!
